Laundry services are available at most lodges and camps throughout the safari for an additional charge. service availability and turnaround times may vary by location, so we recommend packing enough clothing for a few days between laundry opportunities. Your guide will be happy to assist with laundry arrangements during your journey.
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. Relax after your journey and enjoy a family safari briefing before the adventure begins.
Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park. Enjoy your first game drive while searching for elephants, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife. Overnight at a family-friendly lodge.
Day 3: Tarengire to Ngorongoro Highlands
Enjoy a leisurely morning before departing for Ngorongoro Highlands. Along the way, take in the changing landscapes and rural communities of the northern Tanzania. Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon and enjoy time to relax, explore the surroundings, and take in a spectacular view.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Highlands to Serengeti National Park
Travel through the Ngorongoro Conservation area and into the worlds-famous Serengeti. Wildlife viewing begins as soon as you enter the park. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive before settling into your accommodation for the evening.
Day 5: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti’s endless plains. Search for lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, and countless other animals while learning about Tanzania’s remarkable wildlife and ecosystems from your guide.
Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Enjoy a morning game drive before departing for the Ngorongoro Conservation area. The following day will begin early, so spend the evening relaxing and enjoying the beautiful highlands surrounding.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Exploration
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day wildlife experience. Explore one of Africa’s most remarkable nature wonders, home to an incredible concentration of wildlife including lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, hippos, and the rear black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the create floor while surrounded by breathtaking scenery. In the afternoon, ascend back to the Ngorongoro highlands for dinner and overnight at your lodge
Day 8: Ngorongoro Highlands to Arusha - Farewell & Departure
After your breakfast, begin a relax drive from the Ngorongoro Highlands back to Arusha. Enjoy the scenic journey through the great Rift Valley and rural landscapes of northern Tanzania. Upon arrival in Arusha take time to relax and refresh.
Later, join your guide and team for a farewell gathering where we reflect on your safari highlights and sincerely thank you for choosing Lekule Midwest Safaris. Depending on your fight schedule, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure.
